The National Youth Agency (NYA) is the Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body (PSRB) for youth work in England. NYA are committed to enabling high quality youth work across a range of settings to benefit the health and outcomes of young people and strengthen local communities.

NYA is on the Youth Investment Fund’s delivery partners. Over the last four years NYA has coordinated three key aspects of fund insight and delivery; the involvement of young people, embedding high quality youth work, and the effective engagement of the wider sector.

To support youth services, NYA has developed a Knowledge Hub. It offers practical resources that support day‑to‑day youth work delivery, including youth work practice, participation, safeguarding, governance and leadership. The hub brings together curated guidance, tools and learning pathways to support high‑quality, ethical youth provision now and in the future.
