Clare Langley, General Manager for YMCA Taunton, says that being part of the Youth Investment Fund has enabled them to really look at the future. It’s encouraged the team and Trustees to invest in their strategy and take measured risk; not something that they had done before.

The revenue funding and support gained through the Central Support Offer (CSO) has upskilled YMCA Taunton’s staff team and enabled them to recruit new youth work staff.

Clare reflects that the CSO team were “supportive friends” throughout the process and the team felt listened to. Accessing the training, networking and support enabled them to grow talent within their organisation.
